Honesty and communication is very important to me, and this company did not disappoint. I checked with a total of 5 companies for estimates and did my research. He recommended something on the job that should be done the others did not. I checked with a friend of mine that has been in building trades for years and told me " Yes, he is right" They were on time, polite, and cleaned up when they were finished. Oh, they also gave me rebate papers all filled out and instructions for getting $$ back. Highly recommend them!!
We are very pleased with both the cellulose attic insulation and the basement foam rim joist insulation work done by Greenshield Insulation. It was easy to schedule a free estimate visit with Kristel and the bid was provided within a few minutes after Joe finished the inspection. Joe explained what he would do and he listened very well and answered our questions thoroughly. We thought that the price seemed reasonable and after witnessing the hard and fast work done by Joe and Eric, we are sure we received an excellent value. We were impressed with the neat appearance of foam insulation in the basement rim joists. At the time of our project there was a utility company rebate and Joe provided all the necessary documentation. All-in-all it was a great experience working with Greenshield Insulation and we recommend their services without reservation.
My wife and I couldnt be anymore pleased with Greenshield. We live in a Queen Anne Victorian built in 1895. It is our dream home, however with zero insulation in the walls, it sure is cold and drafty. We did not want to insulate from the inside, for it would destroy a lot of the plaster cove we have throughout the house, so our only other option was to drill from the outside (through the original siding..scary!) and blow it all in. I had a few people come out, but we chose Joe because of his good reputation.Joe and his son Eric were on time, reliable, clean, efficient, and HONEST. Anytime I was watching, they were filling these walls to the top everytime. My wife and I were very nervous prior, because the last thing we wanted was our historic home butchered up, but these guys drilled, filled, and then put in wooden plugs, which my wife and I will be sanding and painting flush to the home in the summer (which, its hard to even notice them now).If anybody is looking for somebody with quality work, who is honest, clean, and wont throw a different price, go with Greenshield!
Joe did a great job and is an honest person. I had to find an insulation company without any personal recommendation but did read these reviews and went forward with Greenshield. So glad I did, and you can do so with confidence. Very prompt with his quote, price was good and the job scheduling was quick - this is what he does every day and has done for many decades.
